Guidelines for players

Rules system: Twilight: 2013

System chosen for game system only - setting is ignored.

Our setting is the world as it is today anno 2014.

WARNING: The rules are complex and deadly, so be careful. Stage I rules are for inexperienced players, Stage II rules are standard rules, and Stage III are either advanced versions of standard rules or new rules that increase depth and realism (and thus bookkeeping and lethality).

Game sessions are run as one-shots insertions/missions, but a player may use the same character, and gain Learning Experiences with him/her.

No game sessions are mandatory, and no-shows are allowed, but it is considered good practice to inform the GM a few days in advance. Characters not present at the session will gain ONE Learning Experiences and 1 Improvement Point.

Be on time! Briefing starts no later than 5 minutes after the planned start time.

Roleplaying should focus on team-work, planning and inter-team relationship.

The game sessions focuses on fast-paced action and suspense through close cooperation and teamwork. Inter-team conflicts are allowed, but not encouraged – Remember: You are a highly trained elite strike force, not the local paint-ball team.

Highest ranking Character is Team-leader.

This is the law: The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

— John Steinbeck, The Law
