On June 20th, an American Yacht “Primal Freedom” reported an engine failure east of Somalia, well out of range of any pirate threat. On the 22rd an unexpected storm forced the ship into Somali territory. The next day a Merchant ship recived a SOS from the Yacht, implying that they were under attack.

 

4 days ago we received a ransom demand of 20 million dollars. We do not negotiate with terrorist and we managed to stall CNN for a few days.

 

We know that a Zakariya Ismail Ahmed Hersi is controlling the pirates form his base in Merca, and as American hostages are of high value, they are likely to be located somewhere in the city – probably near the Warlords palace.

 

INTEL is low, so you will have to do the work yourself.

 

You will be inserted by the USS Virginia at 0400 hours on July the 1st, and will be extracted at the same coordinates 3 days later – on the 4th of July.

 

It is of high strategic value that the extraction is on Independence Day, as this will give both our troops and the general population a high moral boost.

Vicky M. Lowder, age 43 – Freelance Journalist

Milli Lowder, age 16

Victoria Lowder, age 12
